Living Life Backwards
• Series: Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes 6:10-7:14 Preached by Lucas Parks June 24, 2024 In exploring Ecclesiastes 6:10-7:14, we are urged to acknowledge the limits of human wisdom and control. The passage teaches us that although much of life is beyond our comprehension, better ways to live still exist. It emphasizes valuing character over appearance, learning from death and sorrow, and avoiding shallow pleasures. We are prompted to live with the end in mind, cultivate patience, and steer clear of self-righteousness and wickedness. This wisdom calls us to trust in God's sovereignty, even when life seems unjust, and to find joy in prosperity, wisdom in adversity, and ultimately, trust in God's broader perspective.
