End of the Matter
• Series: Ecclesiastes
Ecclesiastes 12:8-14 Preached by Lucas Parks July 28, 2024 In this final sermon on Ecclesiastes we're reminded of life's ultimate purpose: to fear God and keep His commandments. The preacher, having experienced all earthly pleasures and pursuits, concludes that life 'under the sun' - without reference to God - is ultimately meaningless. Instead, we're called to remember our Creator and live in light of His wisdom. As we contemplate the reality of judgment, we're urged to find wholeness and purpose in a God-centered existence. This message compels us to evaluate our lives and ask: Are we building on the firm foundation of God's truth, or chasing after fleeting satisfactions?
